It is with heavy hearts that we announce this is our last Christmas at Ensemble Studios. This decision has been an emotional one, especially as we see our space looking more beautiful than ever, making this farewell bittersweet.

Ensemble started as a Christmas pop-up, a project that quickly grew into something far beyond what we had imagined. The three of us fell in love with the magic of that first holiday season, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to close up shop. Now, eight years and five children later between us, we have had to make the hard decision to close. The challenges of running a premium product business with tight margins have meant many unpaid hours and careful consideration to keep things running. As we navigate early parenthood, we’ve realized that time has become our most precious resource, and we simply cannot give as freely to the business we love.

Over these eight years, Ensemble has transformed not just one, but four spaces into vibrant community hubs, including our most recent pop-up concept store in Avalon, NSW. We are so proud of what we have built, especially alongside incredible businesses like Sibling, Brid, and now Thelma.

We owe a heartfelt thank you to our beautiful consignment designers who have been with us from day one: Lilly Buttrose, Olivia Kathigitis, Jordan Gower, and Daniel Emma. We also couldn’t have done it without the tireless support of our partners Jasper, Duncan, and Miles, and our amazing staff: Cassie, Isabelle, Lucca, Olivia,  Margie, Greta W, Chloe and Greta G. Your dedication, hard work, and love for what we’ve built together has meant the world to us.
